Week 3
Facinations and Manifesto
Facinations and Manifesto
During this week we didn't have any plenary lessons, just some articles to read and prepare for next week. During this week I did some brainstorming on my fascinations (that could be useful during this minor) and we were also supposed to write an unlearning manifesto.

Firstly I will introduce and explain my fascinations.
After that I will list five important values and explain what I can change or unleanrn from thesse.

Fascination 1
My first fascination is about the influences from technology on humans. I'm really interested in the changes we have went through during the last century with technology. Will technology take over our world? Will we walk alongside of AI robots and be completely influenced by everything?
Fascination 2
This fascination is about AI's and deep learning. Like the other one very futuristic but will we have a time where AI's walk among us? Will every object become IOT and how do you make this ethical?
Fascination 3
If you give an object a face or name people will easily have empathy for it. Was is it that creates empathy in objects? Humanlike interfaces could have some kind of power with this.
Unlearning manifesto
I would like to continually reflect on how I feel during this minor and be aware of the things that make me less or more happy, so I could adjust to these feelings. It is very important to feel happy
which can improve my work ethic
Happiness
Creativity
Loyalty
Curiosity
Challenge
I would like to unlearn always wanting to be creative about everything I produce. I tend to not make something when I cannot think of anything original. With the tight schedule we have it is better to begin basic and work it up to something creative and original.
Whenever I work in a group project I tend to be very loyal to my classmates and cover it up when they didn't do the work or do enough. This time I want to help my teammates but I will try not to be too loyal towards them and be honest about the work load.
Very alike as the challenge one, it is sometimes hard to stay curious.
I am a very curious person and I often get super obsessed with subjects I like. After I know enough I move on to the next. I would like to stay curious for things I'm already good at or know a lot about. Just explore more!
When something is easy to me I tend to just finish the assignment and hand it in, during this minor I want to keep challenging myself to improve my abilities and skills.
